Last month I completed a 13 piece series entitled The Forest or the Tree and shipped them to a collage exchange and exhibition in New Zealand. Each of the pieces in the series are 8"x 10" - fabric collage with stitching on watercolour paper. These two pieces are in the virtual exhibition in Room 4. It is very exciting to be part of an international exhibition, especially New Zealand. In 6th grade, we were required to write a report on a place we wanted to travel to. As part of my research, I wrote to the travel bureau in New Zealand and got a great package back, filled with wonderful information. Although I have traveled extensively, I have yet to make it to New Zealand.
